Call Screening - Not

Post by srblunk » Mon Apr 03, 2017 12:00 pm

I just had an issue I hadn't seen before. A call came in from a Caller ID I didn't recognize. I let it roll over to voicemail, screening the call from my HD2 handset. I didn't hear my outgoing message, and the 'Screening Call' message stayed on the phone. I checked at My Ooma and found the voicemail had ended after 4 seconds (and was blank); my handset still said 'Screening Call'. I pressed the disconnect on the handset, and the message went away. After a while a call came in, and I noticed it was on Line 2 - Line 1 said it was monitoring the previous call. In order to get rid of that message and get Line 1 back for use, I 'answered' the call on Line 1, then hung up.

Any idea what could cause this?
