2 new Ooma hand sets and sound quality is terrible

I just recently purchased 2 Ooma handsets from Ooma and the sound quality is very bad. Is there anything that can be done about this?

That sounds better, did ear piece and external, external sounded a little clearer. Still sounds kind of tinny.
