Call disconnections

In the last two or three weeks all my conference calls to a local 408 number were disconnected after around 30 minutes. Does anyone have similar situation and how do we resolve it? Thanks.

Is this one of those free conferencing systems that charge an exorbitant connection fee to the calling phone company?

I'm not sure, but I have been using it for about a year and only recently to see the problem.
