call quality

Post by sjb01 » Wed Dec 20, 2017 6:33 pm

I have been having call quality issues for the past week or so. Everything had been fine for the last several years. Outgoing voice is OK, but incoming is very garbled.

I am using a Telo, which appears to have had a firmware update since I last connected, as the screens look different. It has been quite a while since I last connected to the Telo.

I notice that the high bandwith codec is enabled in my Telo. Please disable. Also please move me to the east coast server if I am not already there.

If this does not help my problem, any suggestions what else to check?

Thanks,
Stan

It took some time, but I was able to get the phone support people to make the change to disable the high bandwith codec. This solved my problem.
