Latency on OOMA Baseset

Post by stockwot » Sat Feb 03, 2018 7:19 am

I recently logged into the ooma basestation and made a change to the upstream load.
Default is 0 and I changed it to 10000.
Note: Depending on bandwidth you have between 4000 to 10000 on the upload.
Showed significant inprovement.
To make those changes take a patch cable and directly plug it into the home network port of the baseset.
Go to 172.27.35.1
Go to advanced.
QOS and change Upstream Internet Speed (kbps): to 10000
Hope this help someone.
