What do your signal levels look like on the modem status page? Might want to post them on, say, the DSLReports Spectrum forum to see if they are 'up to snuff'.

What modem are you currently using? I would expect signal stats for multiple down/up channels. Mine is 24x8 (Arris TM1602AP2), although it only uses 4 upstream. You'll need to post the correct stats, but the gurus there will talk you through it.

Just a update: I should have done this sooner. After some PFM (pure flicking magic) everything settled and was working fine so I switched back to the NetGear CM500 16ch;s down & 4 ch's up still working good.
I now have replaced my linksys with a Asus RT-AC88u router and all green at http://www.whichvoip.com/voip-test.htm for MOS at 4.2 and COS at 939%.

Thanks for everyone's help and comments

'FM' is a key component of modern technology... makes things interesting.

Glad things worked out.
