Call quality has significantly deteriorated

My setup is Modem-Router-Ooma and I have had good Ooma service for the past 3-years. Now, my calls made in the AM and early PM have good quality, but any call made or received in the late afternoon or evening suffers from major breakup in outgoing reception... lost or broken word reception. It's gotten so bad that I've started using my cell phone for all afternoon and evening phone calls. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? HOW CAN IT BE CORRECTED? DO I HAVE TO STOP USING OOMA?

Run the html5 version of this test.

In my case my modem had started failing and was dropping up to 17% of my outbound packets. Run the test at the time of day that you are having a problem.

All of the result icons should be green.

"... late afternoon or evening" smacks of an over-subscribed node. Run the test during both good times, and bad, to see if the results vary.
