crackling on my voice calls

Hi I tried OOMA support and not resolved so hoping this forum can provide insights.

I have 3Mbps/1Mbps service using Motorola SB6141 modem and my ooma telo is connected to it. Then the ASUS router is connected to the telo. So I think I have it hardwired correctly and before the wifi router traffic. I hear all callers well but they all complain my voice crackles or is broken up. I have tested with no other traffic and problem persists.

Do you have QOS set on your upstream traffic in the Telo configuration page? 1 Mbps is slow and you need to guarantee that your other traffic is pushed to the side of the road while a call is in progress.

@Murphy thanks for taking the time to respond. I do not see that QoS option on the telo config page. Where is it?

It's on the setup page for your Telo: Setup.Ooma.com. Look for the Advanced tab.

Thanks it is set and has been set at 1000 kbps. More suggestions.

Run the html5 version of this test. You will have to download an app to your computer to run the test.

All of the status icons should be green.

I'm out of ideas. Getting all green, by replacing my modem, was what fixed my garbled upstream audio.
