Customer can't hear me few seconds into the call

This has been happening for a few months. A few seconds into a call the customer would no longer be able to hear me until I put them on and off hold. This happens to almost every other call we get. I've opened up all the ports recommended and it didn't seem to do anything.

I'm on 1 gig fiber internet so speed is not an issue. If anyone has ideas on how to troubleshoot this please let me know.

Are you using an ooma device? I have the HD3 handsets. I was wondering if was related to them. I too have gigabit internet and high wifi bandwidth.
