4G Adapter

Post by Moe » Sat Jul 24, 2021 5:36 am

I have installed the 4G for phone backup the signal fluctuates. It is mounted on the window and when first installed the signal was good, Nothing changes in the room as it is not used, so no one walking in and out room is at 72 degrees. These reading go from poor to fair.
Any suggestions?

Is the antenna on the side of the house that has an unobstructed view of the cell tower?
4G has a very short wavelength. Small movements of the antenna should affect the signal strength.

Yes window is in the clear about 80 feet open area. One time I receive a good reading at -115db next time it will show poor with the same db signal of -115.The thing is I set it up with the strongest signal at -100db.why it changes is I can not figure out I could justify if it was weather related heavy rain or snow but weather is clear.
