Sometimes recipient of call cannot hear me

For the most part, all of ooma's functions have been GREAT...

...i have been noticing though that every once in a while, when I PLACE a call to someone, when they pick up, they cannot hear me.
(I can hear them fine....)

After several "Hello? Hello?...." they hang up.

This happens intermittently, and I cannot figure out why.

Any info appreciated.

I've had the same thing over the course of 4 months...any help would be appreciated. I have used a few different phones and all of them have experienced this.

This is sometimes known as one-way voice.

I have seen several routers (home-grade) that purport to provide QoS actually cause this--especially if a downstream device tries to control its own Weighted Round Robin (WRR) queuing methodology.

A good FAQ is found on the Cisco site that can give some good background on the issues and some potential solutions. While this FAQ is directed toward the Cisco Unified Messaging (CallManager) platform, there are a lot of areas of this document that point towards potential resolutions for the one-way voice:
