After the VoIP test is done, the "advanced" tab shows up. On that tab, the lower right has a link "view text"

You can copy from there and paste the results here.

Upload speed: 2203552 bps
Download quality of service: 97 %
Upload quality of service: 97 %

Maximum TCP delay: 77 ms
Average download pause: 5 ms

Estimated download bandwidth: 64000000bps
Route concurrency: 15.795106

Maximum route speed: 4519648bps

Again, I am having some real issues with delay. I would put it at near 2.5 seconds.

My setup is Modem<Router<Ooma Telo

The Telo then feeds a wall jack that then backfeeds the entire house (big house) but I only have 3 phones connected: two corded and one Dect 6 cordless. The overall runs are long and one corded phone is in a shed about 150 feet from the house, not sure if that will affect my call quality or not but want to include all the details.

Finally, I am also having the incoming audio drop (they hear me, I can't hear them). Not sure if these are related.

Thanks again
Don

Maximum roundtrip is kind of high but nothing terrible. The length of phone cable shouldn't be an issue either. Is your house wiring disconnected from the telephone company at the NIB?

I will check the connections again but I am fairly certain all the NYTEL lines were disconnected.

Are there some changes I can make to either the location of the Ooma in the network (Modem<Ooma vs Modem<router) or settings changes with the router to prioritize the service?

Thanks for your help.

Same issue here. I have both Vonage and Ooma and I experience no delay with Vonage. I also have the DIR-655. I don't believe it has to do with the router as a result. I believe it may have more to do with Ooma's implementation. Any suggestions?

I too experince delays. Has been going on since I activited the telo over 2 months ago. Tried various settings, nothing helps. Called Ooma a couple times with no help. I consistently get about 890ms of TCP delay when I run the VOIP speed test, with about 100ms of round trip time. I believe they have an internal problem with the telo and don't want to acknowledge it. Hope they can find a fix soon. Don
