Update
First of all I had my cable from the cable box at the street to the house changed because it was bad. I checked my cable modem signals and eveything was fine except upload power was at 55 and not below it but since the cable change I checked it again everything including the upload power is good now. I'm still going to use the built in MAC just haven't done that yet. My built in and automatic is the same. I'm able to access ooma.setup wirelessly on my laptop and I thought I wasn't supposed to be able to do that. Here is the latest voip test, download quality of service is still little low. I'll see if the built in MAC will make a difference.
