What thread is Ooma referring to? - audio delay fix (?)

I turned off fax mode and it has removed nearly all of the echo. That I can hear.

I had had it on from sometime last year to help voice quality. We will see if it is better or worse.

In the instance, echo is most certainly caused by the delay. The longer the delay, the more probable the echo. The echo canceler does not work well when the delay gets too long due to the timing being out of range. Please don't run out and spend money on things that will not fix your problem. I cringe every time I see someone's total cost reaching several hundred dollars worth of stuff to try to fix what is not likely a problem on their end.
