all hubs are behind the cable modem (not in front as recommended).
works perfect.
voice quality perfect, very minor drop in fax quality with 2 stations running google earth, so we pause when we hear the fax line ring.

was it easy?
no.
but you can get this hardware to do just about anything you want with almost any phone. even works with a KX6060 business system.

prior verizon phone bill, $420 a month.
current phone bill, zero.

its a pretty good system.
Hello,

I just heard about Ooma last week. I just received my base and scout today. I purchased 3 of each so I could have three different numbers. I hooked up the first one. It appears it may be difficult to connect the other two since they all want to be number one after the DSL Modem.

Can you elaborate on how I might accomplish getting all three to work?

Thanks.

In my opinion you should connect all 3 to your router and not between your modem and router.

I'll try that. When I first hooked it up, it didn't want to work. But I hadn't restarted my computer yet.

Thanks Wayne,

Dennis

...and once it's all hooked up, put me down for $2.00 on Slip-n-Slide to place in the 5th.

I connected Ooma after my switch and it does work. So everything looks good.

Today, I will try to make some calls to people I normally talk to on another Voip and see if they say anything. From my end it sounds good.

Thanks to all!

Do you know that if you're going to pay for Premier on at least 2 of the hub/scouts you'd have 4 number capability on only 2 hub/scouts, not needing the 3rd?
