I am new to Ooma and just installed the Alexa skill. I like to end up to answer phone calls by either an Alexa or Google device/speaker. The idea is pick up pone calls in a room that I don't have a phone or it is not convenient to get to.
Ideally, the device would announce who is calling and I could choose to answer by voice and then communicate through device.
Q1: When I make calls though Alexa it asks me to answer on my local phone to actually make the call. So, Alexa acts more as voice remote, but calls do not go though speaker. Is this really how it is supposed to work?
Q2: I concluded that Alexa can't answer phone calls. It seem more a limitation of Alexa than Ooma. Is this correct?
Q3: Can I accomplish my use case with google nest mini?
Is this the same with Google?
