Partially through a call the person on the other end can't hear me, but I can hear them

I'm having an ongoing issue with my Ooma Telo where randomly during a call the person on the other end can't hear me but I can hear them. Sometimes it recovers but most times we have to call back.

To preface I'm an IT guy with a focus in networking. I have gigabit Verizon Fios and an Asus RT-AX 88U Pro router. My Telo is plugged directly into the router. I've tried a different cordless phone and different RJ11 cable. I've also tried a different ethernet cable. Right now I'm testing by using this service: https://testcall.com/804-222-1111/ to run an echo test. Ooma is replacing my Telo under warranty just to play it safe but I'm not sure that will solve it.

I asked them to switch me to the G711 codec and I'm currently testing to see if that helps. Beyond replacing the Telo and changing the codec I'm not sure what to do. There is nothing on my network that could cause an issue and I have stable, fast, fiber internet. I also ran a persistent ping to my Telo from my PC which revealed no packet loss on my LAN.

I'm at a bit of a loss. Thanks!

I just had it go out again, but I found if I press a button on my handset it comes back.

Edit: Tier 2 support confirmed this is a known issue and escalated to engineering for me.
