Seems when we call the locals that still have the ole land line system-there is a serious delay in connecting the call. The phone you are calling stops ringing and then everything is blank-about 10-15 seconds later everyone can hear each other. When locals call the Ooma it comes through right away.
Is this a problem that can be solved here in the house or is this a problem with CenturyLink (local provider)?

Look at a couple of the recent threads, this is an OOMA issue a lot of people are having at the moment. The 10 seconds of silence.

I had that happen for the first time today. Three times in a row. Very weird.

Came in to the computer setup and rebooted the whole shebang in order and so far so good. Give it a try.
