Voicemail and Call Forwarding

Post by aznillini » Sat Apr 16, 2011 7:23 pm

Voicemail can only be played on my handset and base machines..... I cannot retrieve any voicemails from My Ooma - Home Dashboard online. In fact, the Dashboard online shows no voicemails. What is going on here?

Call forwarding to my cell phone allows for ringing of incoming calls only when cell phone is turned on. When cell phone is turned off, and I use the multi-ring feature from Ooma, all incoming calls go directly to voicemail. I currently have the basic service level, and nothing seems to show up.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get my Ooma up and running? I just purchased it less than a week ago. Thanks!

https://my.ooma.com/inbox
You see no VMs here?

As for turning off your cell phone, when you multi-ring your cell phone, your cell phone's VM picking up equals you picking up so go into my.ooma.com and right under the multi-ring configuration, turn on "Require key press.." That way, even if your cell phone VM picks up, your home phone will continue to ring.
