Call forward with Ooma basic possible?

Post by tkc9789 » Sun Apr 17, 2011 11:49 am

I must say this forum rocks! All my silly questions have been answered in no time. Thank you!
I have yet another newbie question. If I opt out of Premier, there's apparently no call forwarding with basic. Is there any way of forwarding incoming calls if I lost Internet service or the Ooma Telo is down?

Call forwarding and multi-ring are Premier features.

Angelo921,

This may help. There are 2 types of base services: Core and Basic.

Core base service/free service for those that originally activated with Core hardware. Otherwise, Basic base service/free service.

In this post, you'll see Ooma Core hardware:

How do I know if I will have the core or the basic once my 3 month premier trial ends? I bought the unit at best buy store and activated at home (porting my LAN line number). I'm using my own handsets. Would I have core or basic? Vm notifications are included according to the core chart.

Thx
Angelo

Unless you activated with the "Core" hardware pictured in this post:

Your base service would be Basic.
