However, my latest call to customer service lasted over 30 minutes of me waiting on hold for the 'level three' tech named "Bill" to help me only to find out from customer support that Bill decided to go to lunch and would call me back at some later date. This is a nightmare.

Norman Toy is among the best high level customer advocates we have at ooma. If he is working on this you can rest assured that it is being handled with the most concern for your satisfaction. It sounds like the problem is with one of ooma's carriers so I would not worry at all about "Bill" when you have Norm on your side. Keep us posted.

4:30 EST 21 April 2011 -- Just got a call on my cellphone from Ooma headquarters in my response to my fax. Very nice man told me they were going to look into the issue and try to get it solved ASAP.

I was having the "unallocated number" issue that started yesterday morning. I received a call at 5:45 pm today from Ooma notifying me that the problem was fixed. Apparently, only 3 customers were affected by this carrier issue. Nice to hear the phone ring again! Thanks Ooma.

Big thanks to Ooma headquarters for getting the issue resolved. My phone is now receiving incoming calls.

I have exactly the same problem now (Sept 21, 2012). I'm in 541 area code. Ooma's tech support's response has been disappointing. I had to call 3 times before they issued a ticket number, and there is no ETA on the repair. We could be out of a phone for days. If Ooma wants to be taken seriously -- rather than an extra gizmo for which you always have to have a "backup" phone -- they need to get their act in gear.

It's fixed! Took them 3-4 hours since I started complaining. Not bad! Thanks Ooma.

I am in 619 area code and the "un-allocated" problem hit me this morning. Please resolve guys. Mom just checked into the hospital last night (89 yrs old) and this is not good timing to say the least.
