No Incomming calls? Is your Cell Phone Off?

Post by stevepow » Thu Feb 02, 2012 12:02 pm

Just found out this today - if you have Call Forwarding Multi-Ring setup to ring your Cell Phone and the Cell Phone is off: ooma will not ring, your call will go directly to CELL Phone Vmail, and the ooma log will show it as a "missed call". At least that is how it behaves with Verizon Cell Phones.

Maybe this is well-known, I have so few (none) ooma issues that I don't check the forums very often anymore. For those who may not know, "heads up".

In the Call Forwarding Preferences, check the Require key press before answering forwarded calls box.
