How do i check my voicemail with my landline? what do i dialo in?

If I understand the question:
Call your number and hit the * key at the voicemail announcement.

Cool that worked using a lan line, now what if i want to check my voicemail remotely? like when i'm at work? I dial into my number then what?

Same way. Call your number and hit the * at the voicemail prompt.
Back to the first question:
Now, I'm not sure how ooma works with a landline, I'm assuming that's how your ooma is set up, but all I have to do is pick up the phone and push the > forward button on the hub. Your setup might not let you do that.
