Is there warranty for the speaker or do I have to buy a whole new unit?

Do the test at the top of p17. Warranty applies to the entire telo. If all else fails can try this:

Hey Tom,

My device has exact same problem as well. Is it possible to rollback the firmware?

Tried reboot or factory reset, and issue still presists.

Hey Tom,

I havent find anything on top of p16. What should I look at?
I dont have an option to rollback the firmware. Is there a way to rollback manually?
Just you know, your home security product does not have sound either when setting is set to announce at Telo base. Please help.

Top of p16 says: "This thread is only for telo1 running 175814 which has a speaker bug. Any telo1 running a release > 175814 has the fix." Have changed title of this topic accordingly.

So if your telo is not in that category and speaker is mute then follow my suggestion 3 posts up.

Hi. I have the same issue. Would really like the speaker to work as I just got home security and want the base to alert if window or door opens.
