It now gives the firmware version as 156394 nad the voicemail on the Telo works again. Thank you thank you.
Re: No sound from Telo base
I appear to have the same problem. I have an older Ooma Telo, also. I'm able to access voicemail via the Ooma website, or by calling my own phone number, but I can't get the Telo to play my voicemail through the speaker, and when I tap the volume button (speaker icon), nothing happens.
How do I determine what firmware version is currently on the Telo device? How do I know if I have the defective firmware update?

It's working now! Thank you, Tom!
Did you roll back the firmware to a prior version?

Re: No sound from Telo base
You must have had a ticket with support but can't confirm because your forum email address doesn't match the one on your Ooma account so I can't look it up.

Tom-
I'm having the same issue, among others. Can you roll me back as well?
Thanks!

Re: No sound from Telo base
Tom - thank you very much for quickly bringing my Dad's Telo volume back into service; he's extremely grateful and happy to have voicemail-checking back on his hardware.

Re: No sound from Telo base
Hi Tom-
That's the "among other problems" I mentioned. My system has been up and down this past weekend. It went down Friday morning, and I finally got it going again Sunday evening.
This morning I noticed that there was no sound from the Telo, so I restarted the unit again in an attempt to get the sound back. The system has been back down since then. I was able to note the firmware version before it went down again, it is the 175814 that is giving people trouble on this thread.
My hope is that rolling back the firmware will help my connectivity issues as well as the lack of sound.
I've been through customer support without any success, and have lots more detail that I can share. Do you want me to start a new thread?
