How do i go about doing this?

Also, I wanna test Ooma out before canceling my landline service, but for now it is connected. Is that why no one can leave messages?

To leave messages on your ooma VM, callers have to call your ooma assigned number for now.

I got it figured out... i read the instructions wrong
