Loooong delay in outbound call connect time
STM, I mentioned two telo's because support has sent you a replacement in ticket 170310-002124. I can reproduce the connection dropping when copying a file to your telo. You may want to try powering down your entire network, then replacing the cable to the telo with a known good one, make sure it's firmly fitted on both ends (perhaps try a different router port), then powering the network back up starting with the modem.

Seems fine now, thank you!
Re: Loooong delay in outbound call connect time
I still have the issue, anything was done to my telo, or is there something I can do?
thanks

Just tried and there was no delay. Thanks
Re: Loooong delay in outbound call connect time
@Tom B, received new Ooma, and now have it configured with your folks.
Can you check my connections to see status of packets (need to test if files are dropping) and that we're still on the East Coast server? I followed your suggestions with new cord to monitor placement. Just frustrated- this was flawless for almost four years.. I'm hanging on that we can fix it!

Re: Loooong delay in outbound call connect time
Hi, I seem to be having the same problem. Dial someone, remote party picks up, then it takes 10-15 seconds before we can talk. Half the time, they've hung up by then. This problem happens on maybe half the calls. This has been happening for a month or two.
I've tried rebooting my Ooma device, rebooting my cable modem and testing internet speeds (no speed issues). Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Loooong delay in outbound call connect time
Same issue here, sometimes it takes a very long time to make a call. The wife is starting to get annoyed, which is bad for me.
I changed the QoS setting to help alleviate the problem of not being able to answer calls, but things are still not quite right. Anything you or I can do? Should i move the Telo so it is not between the modem and router until the bugs are taken care of?
Thanks
