Disable Voicemail

Please tell me how to disable my voicemail so that my phone keeps ringing until it is either answered or the caller hangs up. After speaking with Ooma chat support, they 'disabled' voicemail so that it plays a message stating that my number is not accepting any voicemail messages. I would like my line to act as if voicemail does not exist. Thank you
