Nomorobo overrides Ooma contact list

Post by lmacmil » Mon May 13, 2019 7:29 am

My wife got a letter from our family doctor today saying they had been trying to reach us and were unsuccessful. When she called, the office said they got a blocked call message. The phone number is a local number and is in our Ooma contact list. This number has always come through prior to signing up for Ooma Premier, which activated Nomorobo. I logged into NMR and entered the number as a good number that was blocked. I hope that takes care of it.

About 7 hours after informing NMR that our family doctor's number had been blocked, we received a call from said doctor so I guess NMR fixed their database.

That's interesting since the NMR database is not accessed 'live'. According to past posts by Tom, Ooma only imports it once a week, early Monday AM, & applies it like personal/community blacklists. Still, glad it's sorted out.

Strange things going on lately.
