If I decide to just keep the temporary ooma phone number, instead of porting the number I have had for the last 27 years, will the ooma number get listed in next years local directory?

We have a local phone book here that allows you to mail or fax your cell phone or VoIP phone to them for publication. They do not charge for this service. This is not the big AT&T book though, but it's almost as good.

FYI, if you do decide to port your number, it will likely be removed from next year's directory. That's what happened to my number that was ported from AT&T. It's still listed online, but not in the phone book that was delivered recently.

I like this... An unlisted number with no charge.
