I was at my computer and noticed the handset suddenly said new voicemail. The phone never rang and nothing shows up in the missed call list. The voicemail was from an 800 number identified by Ooma as Monitoring C... Most likely a robocall but I'm wondering how they got directly into my voicemail without the phone ever ringing.

Blocked calls don't ring the phone. You specify in your account how you want them to be handled. One option is send to voicemail.

Of course, why didn't I think of that? Thanks.
