caller id on one phone only

Since starting Ooma service this summer, we have the system connected to two cordless phones. (Two completely different brands and models of phones) One phone shows the caller ID number on almost every call, the other rarely shows the information. The second phone usually shows "No Data". Before Ooma, that second phone worked great with caller ID, so I don't think it's an issue with that phone. Does Ooma caller ID work better with some phones than others?

Also, it seems that I can scroll thru the second phone's call log, and the call information shows up on the phone's screen then. But it doesn't show information as the call is ringing.

Are you waiting until after the second ring to answer the phone? Caller ID is transmitted between the first and second ring.
