I don't see how I can use ooma as my only phone line if I can't call these numbers. I'll be returning my ooma before the 30-day trial is up if this can't be resolved.
I just tried that number you posted right now and it works. Must have been a temp thing.

I found out last night that I can't call any toll-free number too.
So, I called Ooma support's 888# this morning, it didn't work either.
I need to use my cell to get help.

The support engineer asked a lot of cheat-sheet questions...
It seems to me that the engineer doesn't know much as he didn't even know their own 888 support# I tried... :(

After I waited for a min, he came back and told me that they had some system issues. He promised to update me by email. It has been many hours, I still don't see his email.

Yeah... we definitely need a backup solution...

ok what seems to be the problem are growing pains, OOma was originally west coast, they are now starting to grow very quickly on the east coast here is wqhere the problem is arising. for 2.5 hrs every number I call today between 10:45 am to 1:00 pm EST all I got was a fast busy signal which means all circuits are busy what is happening is there are not enough (what ever they use) to transfer calls to landlines, there are not enough on the east coast, this needs too be increased since they are growing fast this is bad form especially if you need 911, let's hope they stop with all the bells and whistles and concentrate on the system and keeping it up and running for the steady growth that OOma seems to be going thru, once they can fix this then they can turn adding different features.

still no reply from Ooma for this issue.
I tried to call Ooma's 888 last night. It worked.
But, other toll free didn't. This is my 1st time need help from Ooma.
It seems to me that their support is very immature and slow...
