No busy signal

No busy signal

When I make a call, if the number that I am calling is busy I do not get a busy signal sound, :? just silence. I call the same number with my cell and it will give an actual busy signal.

Please help!

That's the way it was designed. My guess is they expect everyone to have voice mail to answer when the line is busy.
