Ooma dial tone came back in Alarm Mode?

Ooma dial tone came back in Alarm Mode?

Hello Ooma community,

We're using a Telo 2 with a Linx, and both devices are set in Alarm System mode. Prior to installing the Linx, after changing over to Alarm Mode we were getting a normal dial tone (no "ooma sparkles" sound when you pick up the receiver), which was the desired behavior. That little jingle just bothers people.

However, sometime between incorporating the Linx and now, we're suddenly back to the "ooma sparkles" sound and seemingly nothing else has changed. Am I missing something regarding the dial tone? Both the Telo and the Linx are set up in Alarm System mode - I just confirmed that a few minutes ago. Did they recently change something for the dial tone or move the setting somewhere else?
