Has anyone else experienced this?

Our landline phone rang and the "from" call display on the phone said "Probably Fraud". Yes, that's what the display read. When we listened to the message, it was, in fact, was a fraudulent robocall.

This is the first time we've seen this message. I have Ooma blocking set to medium (blocks anonymous and known spammers). Is this an Ooma function? Has anyone else seen something like this?

I'd like to know as well. I just saw this for the first time a couple days ago. Is Ooma, NoMoRobo setting this, or is it part of the obviously completely failed recent "Spam caller fix" law?

In searching this online I found that recently other services, certain mobile providers, etc. have been seeing "scam alert", "Spam", "Fraud likely" and other caller IDs showing up on their phones.

I have seen it a few times. It may be related to SHAKEN/STIR and may be Ooma's way of saying something doesn't match.

The "Probably Fraud" label is likely coming from Ooma, or from the third party databases it uses for Enhanced Caller ID. It's not coming from Nomorobo; (if it were, then there should be an option for it in the My Ooma Call Blocking Preferences).

Smaller and rural carriers still have until June 2022 to fully comply with the "Spam caller fix" laws, so it's a bit early to conclude that they have "obviously completely failed". The laws don't address blocking incoming calls from such carriers. Caller authentication protocols such as STIR/SHAKEN only prevent Caller ID spoofing; they do not prevent unwanted calls.

Most of the unwanted calls that I got for the last month went to my cell phone, not to my Ooma landline. About a third of those were labeled "Potential Spam" or "Maybe: Junk", another third had a checkmark to indicate that the call had been "verified by the carrier", and the remaining third had no added label or checkmark. So, it's not a complete failure.
