Call log or phonebook on HD3 not accessible.

Starting yesterday I could not see my call log or the phonebook on my HD3. I got a "please wait" message and that stayed on the screen until I hit the menu button again. The phone worked fine. I rebooted the teleo (which seemed to take an extra long time to come back on line) and that fixed the problem. This is the first time that has happened. Anyone else experience this issue? Or have an idea what caused it?
