The number you have reached is not in service
Customer service recently issued me a new number after I ported out my old number. However, upon calling the new number, I get “The number you have reached is not in service. This is a recording.”
Re: The number you have reached is not in service
Did you use your cellphone to make the call?
Ooma has to send out a notification to let everyone know that the number is now valid and how to route a call to it.
Unlike cellphone to cellphone, it can take several days for this to happen on the analog network.

This is still an issue after a week. No incoming calls work. Can someone please create a ticket? I called customer care, but they were not helpful.
