I've been battling HD2's tendency to cook rechargeable batteries.

Does the HD3 have better charge management logic? I'd hate to pay twice as much for the desk phone just to have a reliable device.

I've had my HD3 for a couple years now and haven't had an issue. Battery shows 100% almost all the time but drops to 50% on a long call. Always seems recharge within an hour or so.
