Ooma HD2-HS handset ignores incoming calls

We have had Ooma for a couple of years with no issues. Recently, our Ooma HD2-HS has been ignoring incoming calls.
When a call comes in, all of our normal phones in the house ring as expected, but the HD2-HS just sits there acting like no call is coming in - no caller ID, etc. I can make outgoing calls with the HD2-HS handset, so I know that the wireless connection to the Ooma Telo base station is good. If the other phones are ringing and we try to answer with the HD2-HS it doesn't work - I don't remember what happens exactly though.
Before you ask, YES we have checked the DND feature and it is not enabled.
Why won't the Ooma Telo make the HD2-HS ring on incoming calls? Any ideas on how to fix this?
