$20 to change caller ID????

Why is there a $20 fee just to update my Caller ID information?

Currently it's Lastname, Firstname ... I would like Firstame & WifeName Lastname but not if I have to pay $20!

There is a 15 character limit, including spaces, for caller ID. That is universal, it has nothing to do with Ooma.

When you change your caller ID Ooma has to transmit the change to all of the caller ID databases in the country.
Those databases charge money to perform an update.

Some time back I changed my outgoing caller ID message but it was free. Perhaps this is because I've always had Premier. Do you have Premier or are you like all the other cheapskates that constantly complain but pay Ooma nothing?
