My Caller ID doesnèt show up when I call

When I go to manage my phone number it has my name under Caller ID name and says: "This name will be shown on your outbound calls". Nonetheless, when I make calls to people who do not have me in their contacts my caller ID shows up as unavailable. I have the premier service. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Go back in my.Ooma / Preferences / Privacy and make sure the box directly under Outgoing Calls is NOT checked. That box when checked will send your caller ID as ‘Unavailable’

(The box name is “Block Display Of My Caller ID”)

If that’s not the issue, you should call Ooma Support. Maybe there is a setting on their end that needs changed.

Within the U.S., the originating carrier provides the caller number, but the terminating carrier uses that number to look up the caller name. Even after Ooma updates the name, it may take a while for other carriers to update their own databases.
