My voice mail is turned off at my request but I just recived an Ooma voice mail?
My voicemail is turned off at my request. I'm using my answering machine. The Ooma ring count is set to 6. My answering machine is supposed to pick up at 3 rings. I just got a notice from Ooma that I have received a voicemail. How or why can that happen??

Double-check with Ooma whether they actually turned off the voicemail, as requested. Otherwise, if something prevents an incoming call from connecting to the (Telo/Hub) device, then Ooma would send the call directly to voicemail -- for example, in any one of the following cases:
- The device is offline and call forwarding is not enabled
- The device has 'Do Not Disturb' enabled
- The incoming call is blocked, and sent to voicemail
