I did not want the Ooma voice mail feature. I have an answering machine, which I prefer to be the keeper of voicemails.
I set the delay value in Ooma to the largest value possible and all went well, until I realized that even with this setting, if a call comes in while I'm on the phone, and I don't switch to it, it will go to the Ooma voice mail. So on the rare occasions when this happens, I have to re-learn how to retrieve Ooma voice mail messages. It usually starts with "Why is the dial tone sounding like that?"
