Different voicemail pick up delay for each number

Post by brobb » Thu Mar 05, 2009 11:22 am

I can't seem to figure out how to set a different voice mail pick up delay for each of my numbers. I only see one place to set this and it seems to affect both of my ooma numbers.

I'd like my main number to have a long delay before it goes into voicemail (say 9 rings - 54 seconds) and my second number to go into voicemail afer 2 rings - 12 seconds.

Does anyone know if/how this can be done?

Assign the second number to a Scout. You will then be able to control it's voice mail independently. It will have it's own log in to the Lounge.

I did that. My second number IS associated with a Scout. But the voicemail settings under the preference tab does not offer a selection of numbers to apply the delay value to. It's just a single value.

Have you actually done this murphy?

I see what the problem is now. I'm logged into the Lounge under my main number. Even though I can see the Scout info under my main number login, I need to log in under my second number to control its features.

Sorry... user error.
