Speed Dial from Specific Caller ID

Post by MrAri » Sun Oct 03, 2010 11:25 am

I have two phone numbers set up (Premier) and would like to ensure my sync'd contacts can be setup to call out using Speed Dial and show a particular outbound caller id instead of having to manually do *001 on outbound calls.

I tried my.ooma.com editing the phone number to reflect *001 but that kept dialing without a response.

Suggestions?

When editing Contacts online and syncing to the phone, prefix of **1 prior to the phone number I have found what appears to be a software glitch effecting my Telo Handsets: I am unable to easily end a call once dialed. I am forced to wait until the call goes through. I noticed this when attempting to assign the Speed Dial from the handset (it would be a lot simpler if speed dial implementation was through the web interface.
