Ooma as a surf control device

Post by jimayers » Fri Mar 20, 2009 2:44 pm

hi - i thought it might be very nice for Ooma to be a surf control device.

My Kids use Net Books which I can not load any type of surf control, and thought Ooma could broaden its feature set beyond phone service.

Here hoping - Jim Ayers

I highly recommend using OpenDNS as the control factor for you.

Take a look at http://www.opendns.com and follow the FAQ's; this will get you set-up and you will be able to control the surfing experience.

You would just change your DNS servers to 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220 and create an account for some control.
