Canceling Ooma after 3 years of premier service

Post by AriG » Tue Sep 13, 2011 8:23 am

After 3 years of Ooma premier service I finally had to use the help desk. Wow that team is absolutly worthless.

On a positive note they were extremely confident and knowledgeable on providing all the information I need to leave Ooma (account number, Ooma address, etc).

Bravo Ooma, although you couldn't support your customer with troubleshooting, at least you did assist me on expediting my exit. Bravo!

AriG, sorry to see you go. I am wondering what kind of issues have you had with Ooma?

AriG,

What on earth could you have problems with after three years of premier service with Ooma that you couldn't come here and get some help?

It isn't fair to tell us you are just leaving without "what happened" to cause it. It would be hard to think that you've had 3 years worth of problems and stuck with it.

Hate to see you go. It must have been serious.

I have had Ooma now for one mount. The set up was easy, the quality of calls is very very good!
This week I ported over my land line number and went well. Done in 7 days after initiated.
I got he premier and I say for $13.00 a month (including taxes) you cant beat it.
I did all the testing on all the features and all is very good.
Ooma keep up the good work !
ps. I have some friends that will be joining the Ooma Family

HikernMass, why hijack a thread instead of starting your own?

I have had to call customer support 3 times now. I have found them to be very helpful. One even stayed on the phone with me for over an hour helping me get back up and running.

I'm kind of curious what happened too. I have been with Ooma for a little over a month and while the phone service isn't quite what I expected (call quality and some other issues) customer support has been very good.

I'd like to know what happened as well.

Looks like AriG posted a "quit and run". :)
