Wish List

I just got my Ooma system and plan to drop my Vonage account once I've ported over the number.

Here is a suggestion for future features:

The hub (and maybe scouts too) should be able to broadcast a call over the speaker (like a speaker phone) while you are on the handset. This would enable a group of people to listen in to a call. It would also allow someone to multitask (like take notes) while listening to a caller if they don't have a headset.

Another suggestion:

There's a USB port on the back of the hub that is not mentioned in any of the literature/manuals. I was told by a technician that it has no current function but is there for future uses (like video conferencing) that may be added. They could enable the USB port to accept a USB computer headset/microphone for hands free conversations.

Hi getorganized,

Thanks for the suggestion on the speakerphone.

Also, regarding the USB port on the Hub -- I just posted a note about the USB port and external peripherals on this link.

If you have gmail, you can create a filter and forward Ooma emails to you + anyone else.

You can use that as an option

You should be able to send voicemails to two separate email addresses already (see attached screenshot)
