Actually, I prefer the empty voice mails. I have expanded and community blacklist set to go to voice mail and that is all I use it for. With my very short greeting automated calls never hang up before leaving some empty space. I would prefer blacklisted calls show up in call logs but until they do I can view most of them this way.

Tom,

no rush, but I would also like my voicemail to be set to < 4 seconds. Thanks.

Tom,

Guess I'm joining the gang of users experiencing the following problem:
1. Phone rings ONCE (real number - my daughter in 702 Area and a local here in 661). I see their home numbers on my CID.
Note: I eventually called them both back. I asked what they heard. They said it sounded like a DEAD LINE so they hung up.
Now Continue reading my initial action when daughter attempted to call moments ago...

2. I attempted to answer after the one ring I heard. No one on the line.

3. My Telo 2 indicates a VM (blinking amber light on right arrow).

4. In the past whenever it was blinking, while there was NO MESSAGE recorded, I was able to trash the message from the Telo 2. I did not care this nonsense was happening.

5. This was the first time, I could NOT TRASH the nul message. When I tried from beta My.Ooma, it reported Error - could not trash it there.

6. It has since clear out the nul message without my further action. WHY???

I was going to ask you to clear it but as mentioned it cleared itself.

Other Ooma users have asked you to set VM to automatically delete if 2 sec or less. PLEASE DO SAME FOR ME but that is a cover up for some other problem.

This issue is not one I could shove onto my daughters phone service OR the other person who has some other service. It's a ME THINGie.

Tom - what is going on? What is causing the occasional dead line heard by caller when they expect to hear a ring that I, in fact hear ONE ring and in reality Telo 2 falsely reports a VM?

PLEASE get back ASAP. I'm the curious type. I've been pushing Ooma more than you know and have somehow evaded/dodged so many problems (disasters) with Ooma that others report. I hope my luck does NOT run out.

Thanks,
Ira
